The long awaited day of the 1975's new album is finally here! I honestly didn't know what to expect, their singles that they had been releasing were so different ( more upbeat) then their last album. Yet, when the album was released and I gave it a listen I knew it was just as beautiful as their last album, The 1975. Each song was a little different from one another but in the end they all tied together wonderfully. Right now my favorite songs off I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it are: The Ballad of my Brain, This Must Be My Dream, Paris, and She Lays Down. You can buy the album here, or wait for it to be realized on spotify on March 11th.
Oh, and can we also talk about the albums name, I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it. Is that just not the most beautiful album title you have ever heard?!
